Composition and Structure

The movable blade and knife spacer are made of 55SiCr, which endows them with high toughness and strength, significantly expanding the variety of materials that can be processed.

The movable blade and knife spacer are alternately installed on the main shaft, maintaining a certain gap and angle between each other to achieve the best shredding effect.

As the carriers of the blades, each piece of equipment is equipped with two hexagonal shafts. They are made of carbon steel to extend their service life.

The blades are precisely installed on the hexagonal shafts and connected to the machine body through high – precision bearings to ensure stability and reliability during high – speed rotation.

The shredding chamber is mostly rectangular. Since most of the shredded materials are hard, the shredding chamber is made of high – strength alloy to ensure that the impact of materials will not damage the inner wall of the equipment.

It consists of the motor, speed reducer, coupling, etc.

The motor provides power. The speed reducer reduces the high rotational speed of the motor to a speed suitable for the rotation of the main shaft and simultaneously increases the torque to meet the force required for shredding materials.

The coupling is used to connect the motor, the speed reducer, and the main shaft to ensure the effective transmission of power.

The PLC control system is easy to operate and has functions such as intelligent control, fault alarm, and emergency stop switch.

The brand of electrical components is Delixi. It can also be changed to brands like Siemens or Schneider according to requirements.

  • What special materials can our equipment handle?

    Apart from common materials such as plastics, rubbers, woods, and metals, our equipment can also handle materials with special properties.   • How to carry out the blade maintenance of the Sing/Double Shaft Shredder?

    Regularly inspect the wear condition of the blades. When the blades are worn to a certain extent, it is necessary to carry out blade sharpening or replacement in a timely manner. When installing new blades, ensure that the blades are firmly installed and the gaps between the blades are evenly and appropriately set. Keep the blades clean at ordinary times to prevent materials from accumulating on the blades, which may affect the shredding effect. Meanwhile, according to the equipment’s usage frequency and working environment, lubricate and rust – proof the blades regularly.

  • What are the models of shredders available? 

    Shredder models include 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1400, etc., which can be customized based on production requirements.

  • How to determine the proper output of a double shaft shredder? 

    It is necessary to consider the material characteristics, such as hardness, toughness, humidity, etc., as well as the feeding size of the material and the required discharging particle size. Generally speaking, materials with lower hardness and less toughness have a relatively higher output; when the feeding size is small and the required discharging particle size is large, the output will also be higher. In addition, the power, rotation speed, number and size of blades of the equipment will also affect the output. Usually, the equipment manufacturer will provide the reference output according to the specific materials and production requirements.
