Client Needs & Solution:
A major Korean e-waste processor needed to handle 15 tons/day of mixed plastic components from electronics (ABS, PC/ABS blends, and reinforced plastics). Their existing system caused frequent blade damage due to metal contaminants.
We provided our heavy-duty single-shaft shredder (Model FS-1400) with:
- Tungsten carbide tipped blades for metal-contaminated plastics
- Automatic reversal system for jamming prevention
- Integrated metal detection with ejection system
- 50mm output screen for downstream separation
Results:
35% reduction in blade replacement costs and 20% higher throughput compared to their previous German equipment. The system now processes 18 tons/day with 98% uptime.
