The Taiwanese clients, a major plastic recycling company, needed a batch of high-efficiency shredders to process:
- High Throughput: Minimum 4 tons/hour capacity to handle bulky, irregular waste.
- Low Maintenance: Hardened steel blades (55SiCr) and auto-reverse function to reduce downtime.
- Mixed Rigid Plastics: Including thick-walled HDPE containers and reinforced nylon (up to 25mm thickness)
- 24/7 Operation: Demanding <30min/day maintenance window
Our FD-1400 Double Shaft shredder exceeded expectations with:
- Dual 45kW motors delivering 4.8 tons/hour output (70mm uniform granules).
- Modular blade design enabling <15min cartridge replacement
- PLC intelligent control system not only makes the operation simpler but also ensures the safety of operators. At the same time, it provides better protection for the equipment. It has multiple functions such as emergency stop, reverse rotation, speed regulation, etc.
