Waste-to-Energy Shredders for SRF/RDF Production

Optimized for municipal solid waste (MSW), industrial byproducts, and rejected materials, our shredders produce 50–150mm homogeneous fuel meeting CEN/TC343 standards. With 5–30 tons/hour capacity, they are ideal for cement kilns, power plants, and waste-derived fuel producers.

Cutting Detail

  • What Materials Can Be Shredded?

    Single shaft Shredder:
Compact in structure, it operates through shearing between a single knife shaft and fixed blades. Features low energy consumption and minimal noise, suitable for shredding soft/medium-hard materials like plastic films, paper, plastics, soft metals (aluminum, copper, etc.), and rubber. Widely used in recycling scenarios and light industry preprocessing.

    Double shaft Shredder:
With an intermeshing dual-shaft design, it delivers high torque and strong tearing force, capable of crushing high-hardness/bulky materials such as scrap metal, automotive shells, large wood, and electronic waste. It serves as core equipment for heavy industry recycling and large-scale solid waste treatment.

  • How Small Can The Materials Be Shredded Into?

    Single Shaft Shredder:
The discharge outlet is typically equipped with replaceable screens. The screen aperture directly determines the maximum particle size of the output material. Standard discharge sizes range from 5mm to 150mm, though customers may select different sizes based on actual needs. Custom screens are also available for special requirements.

    Double Shaft Shredder:
The output size is determined by the cutter dimensions and the spacing between the shafts.

Cutter thickness defines the output material’s width—thinner cutters produce narrower strips.

Shaft spacing controls the length of shredded material. Smaller gaps increase compression, resulting in finer output.

  • What Are The Models Of Shredders Available?

Shredder models include 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1400, etc., which can be customized based on production requirements.

  • What Is The Power Of The Shredder?

Machines come in various sizes and power options, available in both single-phase and three-phase electricity. Special voltage frequencies can also be customized according to customer requirements.

  • What Is The Output Capacity?

The output capacity of single-axis shredders typically ranges from approximately 300 kg per hour to 5000 kg per hour. The shredding efficiency varies depending on the material being processed.

  • How Noisy Is The Shredder?

Shredders belong to low-speed crushing equipment, resulting in very low noise levels.

  • What special materials can our equipment handle?

Apart from common materials such as plastics, rubbers, woods, and metals, our equipment can also handle materials with special properties. These include fiber – containing composite materials, waste tires, circuit boards, large – sized used furniture, etc. For mixed materials composed of multiple substances, it can also effectively crush and separate them, facilitating subsequent recycling processes.

  • How to carry out the blade maintenance of the Sing/Double Shaft Shredder?

Regularly inspect the wear condition of the blades. When the blades are worn to a certain extent, it is necessary to carry out blade sharpening or replacement in a timely manner. When installing new blades, ensure that the blades are firmly installed and the gaps between the blades are evenly and appropriately set. Keep the blades clean at ordinary times to prevent materials from accumulating on the blades, which may affect the shredding effect. Meanwhile, according to the equipment’s usage frequency and working environment, lubricate and rust – proof the blades regularly.
